A rare weekend away from Sleepy Eye took us to Minneapolis – Saint Paul for some R&R. The itenerary included
- Touring the Minnesota State Capitol (wow!!)

- Shopping and eating at the Mall of America
- Riding the light rail Hiawatha Line to downtown Minneapolis
- Attending the Minnesota Orchestra’s Inside the Classics performance of Dvorak’s Symphony #7 with a group of New Ulm Suzuki School (violin) families.
The concert was at Orchestra Hall, which was STUNNING!!
The students got the privilege of going backstage to meet one of the orchestra members. Read more about the concert here and here.
- Staying overnight in Bloomington
- Attending church at St. John’s from our hotel room via live video stream
