I’m back with another FAV 5 post, this time with a twist. I’ve selected my FAV 5 all time best recipes, guaranteed to bring a smile to your face and satisfaction to your tummy, but …. I’m not going to post them all at once. I’m going to share them one at a time, so you can savor them. 😉
The first on the list is Corn Pudding, a must in our family on every special occasion. My husband’s favorite vegie is corn, so this recipe makes him very happy. To make it you’ll need the following:
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
1 egg
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 can cream style corn
8 oz. sour cream
1 stick of butter, melted
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees and spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray (I use Pam).
Start by mixing together the cornbread mix and egg.
Next stir in the two cans of corn and sour cream.
Finally add the melted butter and cheese,
and stir to mix thoroughly.
Spread it into your 9 x 13 pan and back for 30 minutes until golden brown.
I made this recently to go along with The Pioneer Woman’s Sour Cream Noodle Bake.
And here I am, the happy cook, as photographed by my baby boy, Ben (aka … my heart). Time to dig in!
