Hoping you are able to answer a question. My grandson needs large print materials. My daughter and I were discussing LP Bibles, then Kindles. My only Kindle experience is the Kindle app onmy iPad which doesn’t allow for verse and chapter searches on the Bible I purchased (a copy of the hardback that I have).

Any thoughts about a Kindle or a Nook and/or a bible formatted for easy searching for either.

      Hi Debbie –

I don’t have a Kindle, but I do have the Kindle app on my iPad and one feature it has is the ability to size the text however you want. So basically everything in Kindle format can be large print. I’m guessing Nook is probably the same. Perhaps try going into a Barnes & Noble to ask some questions about the font size on the Nook to see it demonstrated, and that should give you an idea if it will work. I bet you will be happy with it.

Sorry – I didn’t address the Bible question specifically. I think you can get the YouVersion Bible app (not an e-book) on the Kindle and it is very versatile for search etc. And it allows large font display in the iPad app. Guessing the Kindle version of the YouVersion Bible app would as well.
