12 on 12/12

12/12/12 was an awesome day for so many reasons!! Trees were set up at church. I went to visit Linus at the Library and mailed all my Christmas packages at the Post Office. The school kids played hockey in the parking lot.  And … Stanley got his acceptance letter for Carleton!!!!

December 9 – Perfect snow for a snowman

The Draper boys had a great afternoon building a 7 foot snowman!! Mom is thankful for her telephoto lens that allowed her to photograph the fun from the doorway.

December 8 – Christmas Train

Tonight we added the Christmas train around our Christmas tree.  I made a short video of some of my favorite pics and of the train circling the tree when we finally got it started. I also took a group of photos using the continuous mode of our camera as the train rushed past.  Couldn’t resist …

Today Luke and Ben played their first of two concerts with their Suzuki violin group at a local assisted living facility. There were sing-a-longs and smiles from everyone in attendance.
